Les Membres sont des femmes et des hommes, spécialistes de l'ensemble des thèmes sélectionnés par 3i3s dans le cadre des activités de l'Institut.
Il existe 3 catégories de Membres : Soleil, Pluton et Jupiter.

Members of honor
They are designated as "Soleil Members" by the President after a proposal made by the Administration or Managing Counsel – which will have decided to designate them so because of their reputation or because they have been of great service to the Institute.
They become therefore fully members of the
Institute. Nevertheless, they are not obliged to pay the annual fee.
They are submitted to no obligation regarding how the Institute works.
They take part in the general assembly and have the possibility to vote.
They are experts in space and satellite
industries.
They are free to play a part in any event which would be organized by the Institute.
Active Members
Those who wish to become a member of the Institute
can send their application to the executive Committee.
After a thorough examination, the President decides if the candidate can join
the Institute or not.
He lets them know in writing about the decision that has been taken.
Members attend the general assembly and have the possibility to vote.
They are obliged to pay the annual fee.
They attend all events that are organized by the Institute.
They are classified in 2 categories: " Pluton " and " Jupiter ".
Pluton Members are people that are interested in spatial services.
They can represent:
- A company: as an Information Systems Manager (DSI), Telecommunication Manager, Security Manager, staff Manager (e-learning applications), Communication Manager (business / TV applications), Marketing Manager (advertisement applications - PLV),
- Institutional organizations,
- Territorial organizations (district, counties, regions),
- State, governmental and ministerial organizations (i.e. DATAR, AMF – Mayors Association in France – CCI , Professional syndicates like the one for Agriculture etc.)
- Specific Medias (TV): meteorology, oceanography, Air / Road / Railway / Maritime Transport etc.
Jupiter Members are people representing companies which provide services in the space area.
They are mainly:
- SSP - Satellite Services Provider,
- Operators,
- Integrators,
- Manufacturers (indoor and outdoor Stations, Antennas, Satellite and live loads, Segment Soil Users, etc.),
- Installation engineers,
Jupiter members have the possibility to provide solutions for issues that have been mentioned by Pluton members. Therefore, they respond to 3i3s’s " Business to Space " perspective.
3i3s’s priority is to make it easier for Pluton andJupiter members to communicate about chosen topics.
